We've all been there. There's no discipline system in the Japanese schools, and you have no authority as an ALT, so if the kids don't want to listen and the JTE just watches, there's not too much you can do. It's just part of the job, don't let it get you down.

Although I was in Chris's job, I spent a couple days at the high school. Because they are tracking the kids there, I noticed that all of the problem kids I had taught at the 3 different Ajimu Junior high schools were suddenly in one class. It was like one of those cross over comics. Each one of these kids had the power to completely ruin a class in their own enviroment, and now suddenly they were all together. I don't know who's great idea that was
